The Creative Outlier Sport is the new addition to Creative's signature Outlier line-up of headphones. Creative certainly did their research and focused on bringing beautifully designed products to their old and new consumers. The Outlier Sport has a flexible cable that runs behind your neck and connects the 2 earbuds together. There is a inline control and mic on the right side where the Micro-USB port lies underside the flap while there is the multi-function button, Vol + and Vol - buttons together with an LED status light. I tested the mic and it proves to work without picking up much of my ambient sound when taking calls. There are also different size of earbuds and wingtips provided for you to find the best fit. Personally, I felt that the wingtips do a great job by provides a very secure fit for me when working out. Having a range of colours, Creative is also giving consumers of the mass population a chance to express themselves. The Outlier Sports is also water-resistant with an IPx4 rating, so you don't need to worry about sweating into them and having them washed after an intense workout session. However, the earbuds themselves do hang down awkardly on your upper body when you are not using them due to the lack of magnetic ends to help keep them neat.

Sound Quality

You will find that the earbuds gives off a very forward and bright sound signature. I was also amazed that to know that the tiny 6mm drivers managed to survive every genre of music ranging from bass-heavy EDM tracks to sooothing classical with no problem. The highs do not sound too sharp or tinging and the mids do stand out. It also has a relatively wide soundstage but lacks instrument separation. Bass comes off as strong and somewhat boosted to give you that extra oomph you need when pushing yourself to the limits.

Connectivity & Portability

It connects via Bluetooth Ver 4.1 and support AptX and SBC codecs. The package comes with a hard carry case which helps to protect it from unwanted drops or scratches and a Micro-USB cable for charging, various sizes of earbuds and wingtips and a clip for securing the cable to your clothes. Its battery life rates at a maximum of 11 hours. The product is also light-weight at only 15g so you won't feel the weight while exercising.
